You asked,”when did you cry?” I cried in the ocean of your meadow! Tears of having sailed oceans…..and also graduated to boutique and finally container farming- trying to recapture all the vastness of nature I’ve experienced now in containers next to my antique Airstream trailer in Northern California. I save seeds wherever I am . The other day- thyme seeds imagine!!please stay in touch. I will. I’ve been gifted your seeds. I want more. Ps I’m 85 and for 15 years I’ve been a volunteer farmer(woofer) on organic farms in southern France, northern Italy, the arava valley in Israel , and Kauai. I understand the passion for growing. Thank you for your comprehensive perspective.

The integration of creativity, beauty, science, conservation and the joy of sharing what you do just brings me to tears. I wish the whole world could operate on your energy. The music, videography, and storytelling are exceptional. Keep doing what you’re doing! Oh, and sorry it’s July and I’m just watching the May video. I’m saving it to watch during Ohio February.

It’s been so amazing to see what you’ve accomplished in such a short amount of time.

Sometimes I wonder, if Erin were here in my backyard, how would she go about making it a “space with place.” Like if you were able to go backwards and worked from a smaller budget, knowing what you know now, how would you set about turning a 1/4 acre yard into a garden sanctuary for birds and people (and keep the rabbits at bay…lol). Distilling it all down to the basics but growing plants and flowers that are special and unique.

Thanks

I am actually visiting my brother in law in Skagit Valley and can really appreciate the growing environment you are blessed with on your farm. I have my first blooms from Floret zinnia seeds and they are prolific! I am thrilled! I can’t wait to collect seeds from them this year. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom so freely. You have truly inspired me and helped me become a better gardener. I can’t wait for the next journal entry!

THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO TO INSPIRE]]> Thank you so much for sharing your journey in flowers so graciously with us. You mentioned not always knowing what your future will be but deep down in your heart you know it, your desire to share your knowledge willingly is your gift to all who follow you and to the world. I am so amazed at all I have learned from you. My vegetable garden has become mostly a flower garden because you inspire me to try new plants. Enjoying nature does not get any better than flowers and our world is in desperate need of more pollination stations for bees. We can all learn about this simple way to help our most important creatures survive because of your gift of knowledge to us. If you ever find time to visit Hawaii the dawn song 🎵 is AMAZING maybe you already have but for anyone who hasn’t its HEAVEN . THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO TO INSPIRE

I am away from my garden this year, taking care of my sister as she travels through chemo, last session this week. Then, after recovery, radiation.
I’ve been home to upstate NY a couple of times since February. She moved from her NC home to her son’s in Hillsborough, CA, a grower’s paradise.
Your garden is such a wonder! Since your first video, I’ve enjoyed what you created, in growing, in documenting, and in how to garden better. I have even dreamt of coming there for a month to work, to participate in that wonder. A twice-trained Master Gardener, I am always a learner. I could never do the massive job you present. Oh, so detailed and extraordinary! Thank you for bringing me there with these offerings.
Please know what you send is beautiful and heartening.

I grew up on a working cattle farm that turned into a vegetable farm which were trying to turn into more of a flower farm. Truly my favorite part was the meadow. Lupins are so magical and all the different grasses you have also grow on my parents farm. Im always using those grasses in my floral arrangements. Living in Alberta, Canada is amazing but seeing your farm is truly beautiful. Im disappointed in myself for not ordering seeds before you paused sales but hopeful that you’ll soon have seeds for purchase available. Can’t wait to see what the month of June looks like on your farm.
