HubSpotters often say the number one reason they like working at HubSpot is how much they learn from the people they're surrounded by. HubSpot is bustling with people at the top of their game - the opportunities to learn, grow, collaborate, and build are endless.

What's one thing most people don't know about you?
I used to play concerts (Saxophone).
What work option did you choose and why?
I take a lot of energy from interactions with my colleagues so I've chosen the @office option for myself. I love the buzz around me.
What team are you on and what does an average day look like?
I am on the Sales Management team and I manage 8 Account Executives supporting the DACH Region. My average day consists of a lot of internal meetings, coaching, and looking at reports. I meet with my team on an individual level, train and coach them on the product, sales process, and skills they want to focus on and review the deals that they work on. I also spend time forecasting and reporting to see what we are doing well and what improvements we could make in the future.
What's one thing you love about the Berlin office?
The people. It's a privilege to spend time with a diverse group of people with different backgrounds, from different parts of the world who all share a sense of curiosity, ambition, and a positive mindset.
How does HubSpot's culture help you do your best work?
Tech and HubSpot are very fast-paced. There are always new tools, processes, and opportunities which is fun. The HubSpot culture is built on people who represent HEART and this is super helpful in the sense of: Everyone helps everyone. If you do not know how the process works, just ask someone around you or reach out to someone remotely. This takes a lot of work off my shoulders.
What's one thing most people don't know about you?
My brain is full of song lyrics, it's basically its own Spotify at this point. From Eminem to Cher, I got you covered. Available for all karaoke and DJ gigs.
What work option did you choose and why?
@office and @flex. I love being among people and the office allows me to do just that. It has been a great learning environment and part of my social life in Berlin. The office has made my move to a new city and country so much easier and fun.
What team are you on and what does an average day look like?
Customer Success - 1/few. My typical day starts with prepping the various meetings that I have with our customers that day. As a CSM, it's our job to manage the relationship of the client with HubSpot and advise them on their strategy and use of HubSpot. On average, we'll have 3 calls with different customers per day. The rest of the time is spent researching solutions to problems, answering questions via email, and managing your book of business from a commercial perspective. This involves confirming renewals and finding opportunities for upgrades.
What's one thing you love about the Berlin office?
The people at the Berlin office make it an incredible workplace. We often attribute HubSpot's greatness to its culture, and I truly believe that the Berlin office exemplifies this. Our culture team organizes great social events, learning experiences, and even pizza parties. However, it's the people we work with every day that make it truly special. Oh, and we also have a rooftop!
How does HubSpot's culture help you do your best work?
The culture is the number one reason why I decided to work for HubSpot. I'd heard great things about it while in my previous role and decided to apply. I have never looked back on that decision. I even moved out country for it.
The culture at HubSpot makes me happy to go to work every day.
What's one thing most people don't know about you?
I started my career in HubSpot in their Support team before moving into the Customer Onboarding team.
What work option did you choose and why?
I chose the @flex option as it allows me to go into the office to network with colleagues but it also gives me the flexibility to work from home when I need to. This way I can really benefit from both options and I get to organize my day the way I want.
What team are you on and what does an average day look like?
I currently work in the Solutions Engineering team which means that I support a sales team when technical questions come up throughout the sales process. This means that I answer questions internally but I also support prospect calls. I also map out how prospects can integrate with and/or migrate to HubSpot so that they gain trust in the feasibility of implementing HubSpot. On a typical day, I will have a few internal calls which include training but also informal coffee chats, deal reviews with my sales reps and sales managers, and prospect calls. Additionally, it is quite common for a Solutions Engineer to work on 2-3 side projects which is how I use the rest of my workday.
What's one thing you love about the Berlin office?
I really love the networking opportunities that the office offers. Most of my team is remote so I am used to collaborating over Zoom but there are some great synergies that are developed while grabbing a coffee and bumping into a HubSpotter you haven't met before. The office is also good for my mental health as I live around and I look forward to meeting my work colleagues in the office.
How does HubSpot's culture help you do your best work?
The HubSpot culture enables me to do my best work as it really aligns with the values that I hold dear to me. When we see something that doesn't work well, we are encouraged to give feedback and ideas on how this can be improved. My colleagues and managers are 100% supportive of any projects I want to launch. The high-performance culture helps me work with like-minded individuals to create impactful changes. Overall, the flexibility and trust that management gives us makes me feel valued which encourages me to do my best at HubSpot.
